Vietnam operates at slightly better broadband speeds as Australia, and well in front of the Philippines, Bangladesh and India…
Broadband speeds:
- 9th place – Vietnam 17.3 Mbps
- 10th place – Australia 16.7 Mbps
- 11th place – Bangladesh 9.8 Mbps
- 15th place – India 7.2 Mbps
- 20th and last place – Philippines 3.6 Mbps
The independent review noted The Philippines Broadband speeds limping along at 3.6 Mbps, and even worse the speed in the Philippines inched up a meager six percent in the past 12 months.
As many Australian accounting firms are considering overseas countries for accounting and bookkeeping resources, it’s important to complete a good due diligence, which includes an impact of the cloud on business. Internet speeds are critical to the successful operation of any cloud business and when staff are expected to be operating on cloud all day this item is critical.
